The Charité Research Organisation (CRO) is a Contract Research Organisation focused on helping its clients move development projects from First Time In Human (FTIH) to Proof of Concept (POC) as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Based in Berlin, at the very heart of Europe, CRO was founded in collaboration with Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin. One of its main goals is to redefine expectations of what is possible in early clinical development by facilitating more effective use of university hospital resources.
Founded in 1710, Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin is the largest university hospital in Germany and one of the very largest in all of Europe. It operates across four campuses with 17 centers comprising more than 100 clinics.
As “part of the Charité family”, CRO enjoys a level of support and access to expertise and technologies that has not been seen before in a Contract Research Organisation - hospital partnership. This unique relationship underpins CROs ability to deliver beyond what has previously been considered possible in early clinical development.
